JAMES DYBAS made his Broadway debut playing Sergio Franchi’s son in the Richard Rodgers/Stephen Sondheim musical, Do I Hear A Waltz? He has since appeared in several shows on Broadway including, George M!,  Sunset Boulevard, Via Galactica, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Pacific Overtures (introducing the song Sondheim regards as his favorite – “Someone In A Tree”). Mr. Dybas also played featured roles in National Tours of 42nd Street and Guys & Dolls throughout the U.S., Toronto & Tokyo.

Regional theater credits include: That Championship Season, Carousel, The King & I, Breaking Legs, Romeo and Juliet, Nine, The Drowsy Chaperone and the title role in Barnum. He is the recipient of seven Los Angeles Drama-Logue Awards

He’s worked on stage and in film with Rod Steiger, Ginger Rogers, Carol Burnett, Gene Kelly, Betty Grable, Eddie Albert, Ann Miller, Elaine Paige and a host of others. He’s also enjoyed teaching a Musical Theatre Audition Technique class at A.M.D.A. in NYC.
