DO40 MEMBERSHIP MEETING HITS THE RIGHT NOTE(S)!!

Characters Restaurant was swinging with Johnny Mercer tunes Sept 17th, when DO40 members Joyce Nolen, Patti Mariano and Mary Lou Barber serenaded the group with great oldies but goodies, directed by board member Karin Baker. DO40 Prez John Sefakis announced the 2012 – 2013 season, and introduced the cast of characters involved with each event, from our Balanchine panel Oct 8th to the Song and Dance Concert April 22nd. The evening ended with an original song written and performed by Tony Sheldon (PRISCILLA).

Tony (above) just moved to the states, and we’re signing him up for our April 22nd concert! But we’re sure he’ll have to cancel, because this guy is going to get work!! Members loved the song and could relate to each and every word. A great membership meeting! Thanks to all who came, volunteered, worked the tables and room! On to 2012 – 2013!
